A JUDICIARY FOR ALL: MAGISTRATES SHADOWING SCHEME 2009

12.00.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sun 5th Apr 2009

A series of free regional seminars have been organised by the Ministry of Justice and OBV to recruit future Magistrates. These will be held in April through to the summer in Leicester, Bristol and London.

This ground breaking scheme aims to increase the number of people from Black and other Minority Ethnic (BME) backgrounds within the magistracy so that magistrate's benches more accurately reflect the communities they serve.

CLDs are pleased to support the scheme and would like to help publicise it amongst our members and supporters. For more information please feel free to contact us or visit OBV's website at: www.obv.org.uk.
