Attending Chinese Liberal Democrats and Korean Liberal Democrats joint Lunar New Year dinner on 11 February was reporter Zhao Xue Mei who contributed the following articles in (click on links):

Ms Zhao interviewed key-note speaker Treasury Chief, Danny Alexander MP who shared about Liberal Democrats' achievements in Government and his outlook for the economy in the Year of the Horse.
He also encouraged Chinese Liberal Democrats in their work with the Chinese community towards greater participation by British Chinese in politics in the UK. In particular, he expressed his support for Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Sarah Yong who will be standing in the Liberal Democrat held seat of Somerton and Frome in 2015 taking over from the current MP David Heath on his retirement.
Reporters including those from Singtao Chinese paper and Nouvelles d'Europe were also present at the dinner and covered the event.
