Community Open Day : "Chinatown Working Towards Excellence"

6 Oct 2012
Chinatown Working Towards Excellence

London's Chinatown is the iconic image that most people would associate with the British Chinese community. It is also an important business district and tourist destination in London. It is therefore very important that all the stakeholders of London's Chinese community have a say in shaping its future.

Chinese Liberal Democrats have teamed up with grassroots organisation Citizens UK, the Chinese Church in London and working across parties to hold a Community Day for Chinese businesses, community organisations and other stakeholders to get together to discuss how we can make Chinatown a better place for all who live and work there.

This event will take place on Saturday 20 October (2.30 -5.00pm) at the SOHO Outreach Centre at 166a Shaftesbury Avenue London WC2H 7JB . There will be workshops on employment and corporate law as well as a chance to learn both about the history of Chinatown and to envision its future.
