Cool runnings: Support Community Champion, Phil Ling!

Former parliamentary candidate and community campaigner, Phil Ling, is standing as a Council candidate in Merton Borough in May's local elections. Phil's ward, West Barnes, currently has 2 Lib Dem Councillors with the third a Conservative.
Phil is working hard to become the third Lib Dem Councillor in the ward.
At the same time Phil is running the Brighton marathon on Sunday 6 April dressed as Sylvester the cat, chasing Tweetie Bird!
"My charity is Street Kids International, an international development charity, they give street and marginalised youth the chance to earn a decent living and to participate in their local community and economy.
They do this by developing and delivering training and tools that support these young people to build businesses and start planning for a positive future.
Essentially helping them to help themselves. As it's about skills not aid, it's a very sustainable programme. They've worked in countries such as Brazil, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Uganda to India.
Your support will make a huge difference!" said Phil.
