Join the Chinese Liberal Democrats

If you are not yet a Member or 'Friend' of the Chinese Liberal Democrats (for those who do not wish to become members of the Party), why not join us ?

Over the years, your support has helped the Chinese Liberal Democrats to:

  • Engage the British Chinese community, encouraging them to vote and to inform government policy
  • Fight against discrimination and encourage equal opportunities
  • Encourage more Chinese to stand for office in local, regional and national election and provide support to candidates
  • Organise social and networking events
    and
  • Work with the Chinese Embassy to promote mutual understanding

If you are in Birmingham for the Liberal Democrat conference this September, please do visit us in the Exhibitor's Hall in the International Convention Centre (which we are sharing with EMLD).

We will also be at the 'China Forum' fringe event, sponsored by the Chinese Embassy, taking place on Wednesday 21st September 2011. This year, the panel of speakers will include Chris Huhne MP, Lord McNally, Jeremy Browne MP and Ed Davey MP.

We will also be celebrating our 5th Birthday on Tuesday, 20th September 2011 at 8pm at the Tin Tin Restaurant. Our special guest speaker is patron Lord Paddy Ashdown. Spaces are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment - cost is £25 (or £30 on the door). (RSVP to philip.ling@chineselibdems.org.uk).
