Philip Ling, Chair of CLDs wishes everyone a Happy New Year of the Snake

"Happy Chinese New Year! It is a sign of how well the Chinese culture has been accepted into the UK psyche that many people know when the New Year is and are also happy to celebrate it.

The Chinese Liberal Democrats (CLD) in 2013 will be striving to campaign on issues affecting the UK Chinese / Asian community, improve the links between the Liberal Democrats and the Asian voters as well as increasing the political participation of the Chinese in UK politics. We are making great strides in all those areas. Employment of staff to improve our contacts and communications with the community and provide support to our CLD members standing for Parliament, European Parliament or local Councils. None of this would be possible though without the continued support of members and supporters like yourselves.

Together we can build a better and stronger society for all in 2013. Your input and support will, as ever, be vital to our continued success.
