The Patron of CESEA is Victoria Collins MP.
Our Chair - Cllr Ying Tong Perrett
Ying is no stranger to UK graduating from university here in the early 90s. Her career spanned from IT support to journalism and market intelligence with Computerworld, IDC, to mid management in IBM and Autodesk.
Returning in 2021 on a British National (Overseas) (BN(O)) visa , she joined the Lib Dems and became the first BN(O) dual councillor in the country - Parish Councillor for Bisley and Borough Councillor for Surrey Heath.
She joined CESEA Lib Dems - formerly Chinese Lib Dems and was subsequently elected on the exec committee in 2023. In 2024, she took on the role of chair.
